Antonio?
C&P C&H
This report makes it sound like he will only play on the left if Moses is injuried. I thought he could play on the right? Seems a waste of money and could be missing out if we are not going to give him a chance?

£7 million deadline day signing Michail Antonio has been told he will have to wait for his Hammers career to take off.

The Victor Moses loan has stood in the way of the former Nottingham Forest wideman’s chance and the exit from the Capital One Cup looks set to delay it further.

Moses was a hugely expensive signing and the Irons are keen to capitalise on the player’s outstanding form which has seen him short listed for the African Premier League Player of the month award.

The Irons were determined to snatch the player on deadline day as he was being tracked by two or three other Premier League outfits but should Moses remain fit the 25 year old will need to wait for his chance.

ClaretandHugh was told this morning that with the club so spoiled for choice at the moment anything was possible but that Moses was seen as the number one left sided player this term.

Our top source said: “He’s been terrific since he arrived and yes, we are spoiled for choice but Michail was brought in as the long term prospect for that position.

“This season may be frustrating for him but he has a very big future at this club – that’s a certainty.”

Ok, but you know what I mean. He's not PL experienced yet though is he?

Just saying there's no panic to throw him in.

True. I'm thinking a bit more of the far reaching future than tomorrow, though.

Like the 2016/17 season after Moses goes back and we can't afford to re-sign him.

He gives us a different style of attacker and therefore adds to our variety

Re: Antonio?
He'll get his chance. I imagine he's a bit raw as well, at the moment. Clearly one for the future, rather than to make an immediate big impact.

I see him playing a part tomorrow.

Re: Antonio?
Maybe he's part of a PLAN B where we have Sakho, Valencia and Antonio as a more direct front three running the channels.

Nice having a plan b tbh.

He's 25, hardly a youngster for the future like you are suggesting, should be pretty much in his prime.

I think the inference in this piece is we have to play Moses if fit, part of his loan agreement I reckon.
